This saddle is a work of art. It was handmade by fine saddle maker Ted Schindler, Bishop, CA. Ted crafted made to order saddles and he taught a saddle-making school for many years. This is a Visalia round saddle, 9 width, fully tooled with California poppies. It has an inlaid suede seat and dark buck stitching. The silver was made by Broken Horn Mfg and is inlaid with orange sapphires bought from a jeweler. Ted signed this saddle behind the cantle and in a few places around the tooling. He also added a nude lady under the left seat jockey! The stirrups are monel. I will keep the custom horn cap and nameplate. This saddle was made for me. I have ridden it under 5 times. I love the saddle, I don have a show horse. It has been covered and kept inside. Its in perfect condition. No one has a saddle like this one.
