Beautiful light weight Billy Royal western saddle
Check out the photos carefully to see the flaws on this saddle, which are few.
1. leather piece that shows the Billy Royal logo has tear
2. back of the skirt below the cantle (appears to have been rubbed against something including braided area)
3. a separation of the leather on one of the stirrups
4. rigging on the skirt is a bit corroded, appears to only be cosmetic
This is a quality made saddle The conchos and back plate are sterling plated.2 pics shows the stamp.
This saddle has a fiberglass tree with the numbers 561 on the tree.
I cannot find a serial number on it anywhere.
It weighs 26 lbs, which is lighter than the wood/rawhide saddles which are typically 32 lbs or more.
Seat size is 15 inches,
Seat material is suede
Beautiful tooling through out.

Cantle approximately 1.5 inch
Skirt length approximately 25.5 inches
Gullet length approximate 7 inches
